Today we woke up to sun and headed to Parque La Carolina which is very close to where we are living. Emma saw last weekend that there was bungy jumping so she begged to go there first. She had fun but said it was kind of hard work! Not sure if she will ask to go there again. :) We then headed to the horses again. Emma and Danni took their rides around the park. I didn't even follow them like last time. Emma has rode horses before and Danni seemed as if he was an old pro too. I did have a camera that worked this time so I can share the pictures!! :) The park is so cool on the weekends. It is truly a community gathering spot with so much going on. This weekend there were two different areas where they were exercising. They had loud music and hundreds of people doing aerobics. It was so cool! I said last week that the ice cream binge was coming to an end so the kids got watermelon. It looked delicious and they ate it right up! BUT...they both got stomach aches!! Hmmmm....a plot against mommy to get more ice cream or a true tummy ache!! :) Once again the rain came in. I guess April and May are the rainiest months in Ecuador - bummer for us! So we grabbed a taxi and headed to mall to have lunch. It was interesting as it was a food court but it wasn't all fast food. Emma had a steak! We all got something different and it was pretty good. Spent the rest of the day relaxing - Danni and Hayden had a nap! :) Tonight we again had issues with the hot water and electricity. The electrician is coming in the morning. This needs to be resolved soon - kind of a pain to deal with. That is all for tonight. Have a great week everyone!! Mari
