Tomorrow there are elections here. The traffic was a mess today and we later found out it is because most everything is closed tomorrow. At Megamaxi the entire liquor section was roped off. This country goes dry 36 hours before and 36 hours after any election. The Spanish/English tutor told us all this. There are no candidates up for election, this is 10 referendum questions only. Tomorrow should be an interesting day!! I think we will take a walk to the park and that is it.
We didn't do much today. Since we played hookie yesterday Emma had quite a bit of school work to do which took most of the morning. We walked to Megamaxi to get groceries and then played at home until the Spanish/English tutor came. It is so nice again today. We have the entire apartment windows open. The sun and breeze is coming through. It felt nice but Hayden's allergies are already acting up!
We heard some maybe good news today. We sent an email to our attorney to let her know that if all the paper work is not done that Emma and I would leave on May 25th and Hayden would stay with Danni until the end - that we would need to do power of attorney paperwork. Emma needs to get back to go to the last week of school. She moves to a new school next year and they take a tour and meet teachers, etc. She needs to do that plus she does miss her friends. She has been exchanging emails with the kids at school with the help of her teacher. All the kids miss her. A couple even said it is "boring" there with out her!! That made her feel really good. Anyway, the attorney replied that we will be able to all go home on the 25th. Typically they don't give you that kind of hope so I pray that she knows something that we don't!! Keep the prayers going people!!
