Today we went to Centro Historico to watch the changing of the guard. The kids and I have been but it is a must see so Hayden and Michelle needed to go. If you recall when I went alone with Emma and Danni it was pre-elections and there were several people there and it was a bit scary! Since elections are over the crowd was much smaller and not scary at all. The president did come out again and wave to the crowd a few times. We noticed snipers on the roof tops too! That was cool! We also walked around and saw a few churches and had to take Michelle to the nuns abbey. We ate lunch at a restaurant at the Arch Bishops residence - part of the residence is shops and restaurants. While we were eating an Arch Bishop came in to eat. The hostess came over and asked if we knew who he was because he was actually from the United States. Dinner was awesome by the way!!
We got a call late this afternoon and tomorrow we go to give power of attorney to our attorney to obtain Danni's original birth certificate. The man who called was our interpretor and he was clueless about the judge and if he decided or not. A long hour later we heard via email that the judge did not rule but they thought he may this afternoon and then we would find out tomorrow. We are just preparing so that when he does rule we can get the birth certificate right away.
Dig the new hats on Emma and Hayden?!?! One dollar each!! Ya think they are real Nike? :)
Danni eating pizza.....he was having a hard time holding it so this was his solution! Look mom no hands!! No he didn't see Emma do it first. This is his own imagination!
The dog in pink...poor thing....dog clothes is a huge thing here. In the park there are always dogs with little jackets on or bows in their hair. This woman was actually selling dog clothes and the little white dog is her model. Think Zoey and Kramer would enjoy an outfit?
